A Stitch a Day (3rd October)

Usually I wouldn't be able to say with these fabrics which would be the wrong or right side. Most of the times both sides are interesting in their own right.

This fabric however really reminds me of carpets, where you have the woven backing into which the pile threads are knotted. Similar to carpets the blue/purple parts in this sample protrude on the one side from the white background that dominates on the other very flat side.
