thank you very much for your positive comment. The colours I use in the swatches are just what I had in my stash, or what I bought cheaply recently. When I combine them i look mainly for enough contrast to show the patterns as clearly as possible.
They can look rather different in different colours.
I was amazed about the amount and variety of colour stitch patterns I discovered, and I initially decided to start blogging to share some of them with you for your personal use. They are easy to make for anyone who is able to knit and purl. The only other thing you need to know is not to knit, in other words: slip stitches.
